Pre-production 4: researching and finding a local sustainable brand

‘Ewoke’ is a local fashion brand based in Hyderabad with a tagline ‘house of conscious clothing’. It was founded by a woman entrepreneur and fashion design enthusiast, Shruti Rawal, who is also the creative director of the company. I have chosen Ewoke and Shruti to document and interview for my A-level portfolio. I think the studio would make the perfect fit for an example that I wanted to showcase in my documentary against the effects of fast-fashion brands on the environment.
