Pre-production 6: Reaching out to Shruti and finalizing a shoot date

 Today I  reached out to Shruti with the help of my mom and had scheduled a meeting to interview her and shoot at her studio on the 27th of August 2024. I sent her a basic overview of what I was aiming for and the questions I had prepared as well. To execute the shoot and interview, I have also asked Shritha, a friend of mine who is also a student and film enthusiast, to help me out through the process on the day of the shoot. I plan to use my phone and Shritha’s phone, both iPhone 14s to film as a camera may need experience and knowledge to be used properly, which could be time-consuming. As for lighting, Shruti had offered to use a ring light she already had at her studio.
